Child Advocacy Centers are part of Safe Horizon and offer services to children who have been victims of sexual or physical abuse. They offer a dedicated team to help the child and family with mental health services and the criminal justice process.
The Met Council Family Violence Center offers services to clients facing family violence including safety planning and case management, counseling, emergency financial assistance and food pantry, referrals, and legal advocacy.
OHEL offers a wide-variety of mental health services to both individuals and families, available in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish. They also provide free services to victims of domestic violence, and offer a safe dwelling program.
The New York City Family Justice Center provides a variety of services to help victims: case managers for help with safety planning and other needs, counselors and psychiatrists, lawyers, officers and prosecutors for help and information, financial assistance and referrals, and child care services.
